ZGON was founded in 2023 by lawyer Hripsime Harutyunyan and media expert Gayane Manukyan. Our mission is to create an environment that will contribute to the development of a safety culture in emergency situations.
ZGON believes that raising the level of vigilance among the broad public will lead to individual preparedness, which in turn will ensure the safety of one's life during unpredictable events and emergency situations.

Our motto is "Be ZGON!" inspired by Hamo Sahyan's words: "If they've marked your back, your vigilance is meaningless." We believe that one must be vigilant (ZGON) before one marks your back.
Our objective is that within five years, the majority of citizens of Republic of Armenia will have an emergency bag at home, workplace, school, and other public institutions, know how and where to use them, master the basics of first aid, and have well-equipped shelters.
